Today, we’re incredibly excited to announce the next chapter in Stacker’s journey: Stacker AI.

This is a big moment for us. It’s the next step in our mission to bring the power of software to everyone. Not just developers. Not just technical teams. Everyone with a problem to solve or a process to improve. And it's next step towards a future where every business can run on software that perfectly fits their needs.

We’re proud of what’s been built with Stacker so far. Thousands of CRMs, portals, internal tools, and dashboards. Tools that help real businesses run better. But even with all that, we’ve always known there was more to do.

The change we've been waiting for

For almost eight years, we’ve been working toward the same goal: making it possible for non-technical people to build real software to solve their business problems.

I'm proud of the progress we've made, through our no-code application platform, in letting people create their own software without writing code. But despite that progress, we hadn't really reached the place we were aiming for.

No-code is great, and it opened the door to software building to a lot of people. But it still came with tradeoffs. Even though there wasn't any code involved, you needed to learn a whole new way of thinking to create great applications. Sometimes building was still slow, still hard, and for some people, still just out of reach. We still hadn't made creating software available to everyone.

That’s why this next chapter is so exciting.

With AI, we genuinely believe it’s now possible for someone with absolutely no technical experience to build real, working software. Fully featured apps. Built by them, for their own work.

That’s the breakthrough we’ve been waiting for.

Meet your new AI builder

With Stacker AI, you don’t have to learn how to use our no-code platform to build the apps you need. You tell the platform what you want, and our AI builder does the rest.

It don’t just give you a starting point. It can redesign layouts, add whole features, change how your workflows are set up, and even rewire the whole app if needed.

The AI builder understands what good software looks like. It's been trained on what makes good software good: clear navigation, intuitive workflows, the right balance of flexibility and simplicity. It recognizes the patterns that work and avoid the ones that cause headaches later.

It's also been trained to understand what your business does, and work out how best to create software that actually solves your needs – not just something generic that looks like.

And best of all, it does this all in collaboration with you: asking you questions, following your directions, and making suggestions of its own.

We've been using it internally, and I have to say: The result feels a bit like magic.

Still no-code at the core

One of the things that enables this magic is that at its core, Stacker is still powered by our no-code application platform, which can power stunning mission-critical applications perfectly fitted to your business.

No-code has always been powerful because it gives you software that just works. You can inspect everything, understand how it’s working, and make changes without fear of breaking the whole thing.

Unlike AI "vibe-coding" platforms that spit out a pile of unreadable code that you can only hope works as you have no ability to audit it yourself, Stacker AI builds applications into our no-code platform.

That means the applications are built with high-quality components, they're fully secure by default, and they just work! No need to spend hours telling the AI to go and make sure each button does the thing it's meant to.

It’s your app. You can still see how it works. You can still change anything. You just have a smarter starting point, and a much easier path to getting what you want.

Create without limits

One of the things I'm really excited about for our new platform is how AI can help us go beyond the limits of our no-code platform, and do things that had only been possible in full code applications.

Our new AI builder will let you extend Stacker's functionality with new AI generated custom code components.

You’ll be able to add new display components and widgets to add into your views. You can create entire pages with fully custom layouts layouts. You can add custom business logic and calculations. You can even connect tools and data sources that we haven’t even thought to integrate yet.

All of this will still sit on Stacker’s no-code foundation, with the clarity and control you’re used to.

It’s more than no-code. It’s the next level, where code and no-code sit alongside each other.

The big unlock

AI is changing how software gets built.

It’s speeding up the process, reducing the learning curve, and opening things up to way more people.

It's also expanding the horizons of what is possible for platforms like ours to achieve.

It's creating a level playing field where everybody can create the software they need, regardless of technical ability. It means that in every company, regardless of size, can run on software that they've created to be perfect for them.

For us, that’s what this is really about. It’s not just about saving time or money. It’s about unlocking potential. Helping people who previously couldn’t build at all start creating tools that move their work forward.

We think this is how business software will be built in the future. And we’re excited to help lead the way.
